How does ClearPath stay ahead of our boring contractors?

ClearPath Ops is built around continuous forward coverage. We visit sites ahead of boring crews for pre-bore site assessments, then complete EM and GPR locating and marking on each segment before your contractors arrive. Real-time communication keeps your project managers and boring crews in sync so there's never a lag between locate completion and crew movement.

What methods does ClearPath use to locate utilities?

ClearPath uses both electromagnetic (EM) scanning and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) on every locate. EM scanning detects conductive utilities like electric, gas, and communication lines. GPR identifies non-metallic utilities, storage tanks, and other subsurface anomalies that EM alone won't find. Both methods are used together on every segment — no exceptions.

Can ClearPath help if we experience a utility strike or 811 delay mid-project?

Yes. Step 5 of the ClearPath Ops process is specifically dedicated to on-demand damage and support.
